Starch Convention (with exhibition)

The Starch Convention is an international conference of the Association of Cereal Research Association - in cooperation with the Max Rubner Institute, Detmold - organized for more than 60 years.

Target groups of the conference are representatives of the starch industry, the machinery / equipment manufacturing as well as research and consulting.

Approximately 200 participants from home and abroad can learn to 1 ½ days of technical applications, starch structures and their characteristics as well as fundamentals (sometimes in parallel sessions). The Starch Convention accompanies a machine and product exhibition.

For the conference, there is a "call for papers", that is an invitation to submit interesting and current topics that may be presented at the Starch Convention. The Starch Expert Group chaired by Dr. Willi Witt selects the lectures.

Directly before the Starch Convention the Association presented the European Bioethanol Technology Meeting.

The conference language of the Starch Convention and the Bioethanol Technology Meeting and is English.

At the evening event and during the breaks you can build contacts with experts from home and abroad.
